If you want keep read all whatsapp messages but stop the someone seeing when you have actually read a message, There is option that too. Go to whatsapp setting> Account> privacy> Read receipts then untick..Now you won't be able to see blue tick from other people..

Hide conversations from chat screen

If you want hide any speed person chat there is a options too..long tap on chat then show option on the top then chat will archive. It does not delete the chat.You cant archives any chat and group also.
Note: To see the chat again go to bottom of chat screen.

Stop incoming media from automatically saving

By default whatsapp automatically saves image and videos from recipients in gallery or photos app.you can stop this and save your data..

Go to setting> Data usage > there is 3 options  select no media...now all media download manually.

Hide your last seen info

When you open any chat in chat window you will see a "last seen" timestamp under or her name.its indicated when the contact last checked WhatsApp. If you don't want people see when you using last time WhatsApp.just go to setting them account and privacy.. And select last seen Nobody
